2012 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 HT Santorini Black

CB mount

I off to Wales this weekend and though I should fit my CB I already have a Ram phone holder and really like it in another vehicle but do not want a window sucker type in the 90 so Mud do a 1" ball mount that fits on to the Puma dash but over £20 bit steep for me so I look around Ebay and found the same thing for £3.99 including P&P it needed a longer bolt which I found in the bolt box cut it to the right length and used a nut as a spacer ,I didn't want to buy a Ram X-grip so again looked in the box marked "save even if you never use it" and found the thinness length of alloy H section and made a mount from that.

Just to add when the CB is not being used the Ram mount make a good curry hook

Very neat!! Any chance of the links to the bits you bought to do that? Would like to do something similar in ours

Particularly the eBay puma mount that's not Ram didn't realise there was one of those
