Spacers with Freestyle alloys??
I've just put some new tyres on my 90 - they look to be quite far out and after having a look it seems that the general opinion is to use spacers with Freestyle alloys. Some suggest just a 5mm spacer.

I've gone from 245/75/16 to with 30mm spacers and Freestyle alloys to 235/85/16 BFG MTs on the same wheels.

Can I take the spacers off or will I still need something? What's the perceived wisdom with this combination?

That looks spot on offset wise to me.

No spacers required with 235s but it does increase steering lock potential, which is useful Thumbs Up

As long as they're good quality, hub centric spacers they'll be fine.

Don't go anything less than 30mm spacers though. No where near enough material on a 5mm spacer. Be that on the wheel studs or the spacer. Thumbs Up

My personal opinion would be to stick with how it is at the moment. Looks great Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I agree with Grafty, looks spot on Thumbs Up I'm about to fit spacers to my boosts/ 235's to achieve that exact look.
