Is this just for a trip away as you can now rent them for about £35 per week with call charges around £1.50 per min. Just a thought

Hi steve thanks for reply,looking to buy one I do go away a few times a year, mainly to Scotland were my phone signal is cr@p,so would be better Off buying one in the long run;)

T-Mobile & Orange have a free roaming agreement now that increases the coverage on the borders and scotland significantly.

Before you invest in the expense of a satellite phone check out what coverage you can get from these.
