check and inspect the injector having made note from witch cylinder you removed it from fit new O ring seal and copper washer

check cylinder head injector port hole and copper washer seat for damage or carbon build up

Refit injector back in to cylinder head .I.E. one from cylinder 1 back to cylinder one and so on

May I add that it is useful to add a drop of oil at the underside of the screw head.

I'm not sure, why you recommend to wait 45 minutes before start working on the system. The only problem is the heat in my eyes. Anyway of the engine is of, the pressure in the rail system will fall to zero quite quick. I wait normaly only the time from turning of the engine until I have collected all needed tools. Maybe 5 or 10 minutes.

Don't forget to clean the injector seats within the cylinder head before reinstalling the injectors again.
