United States 1985 Defender 90 V8 Petrol SW Auto Portofino Red
1985 V8 Ninety. 3.5 twin carb was replaced with a 3.9 Efi, then replaced with a 5.3 LS (LC9) and 6-speed auto (6L80e) transmission.

I wonder if anyone will get around to dropping the GM LT4 engine into a Defender,..it would be a very exciting drive with power of 640HP & torque of 630 lb ft.
This engine is currently fitted to the Cadillac CT5-V Sedan, & also to the recently discontinued Camaro ZL1.
Such a transplant would be way above my "pay level", but IMHO would probably be the ultimate V8 if that's what one's looking at.
