Arb pressure switch
Hi folks. Dug out an old ARB compressor I have had for years and made a mount ready for the Ashcroft air locking diff from Nigel at xcess4x4. Only problem is I have snapped the tab of the pressure switch. I know muppetry... Does anyone know what the best pressure switch (and pressures) I should get to replace it please...

It's 1/8npt, Ashcroft lockers run better at slightly higher pressure in my experience. I run a 90/120. Cheers

Put a pcl female on the 1/4 fitting too for air tools. Use an old air suspension cylinder as res. All road ones around £30 on the bay. Cheers

The even cheaper way to get an air tank is the disposable welding gas bottles. They have a 1/8th BSP connection on them. I have a 1/4" braided hose going from the compressor to the tank, then I've tapped a 1/4 BSP hole in the other end.

The ARB compressor uses 1/4 NPT fittings but they're near enough to 1/4 BSP that they're interchangeable at that size.
