OMG you were so right L110CDL Laughing
Now the Fiesta which has not missed a beat in the last 8 years has just flagged an engine fault. It appears the EGR has failed (stuck closed). It is in the position from hell behind the engine under the fuel filter and trapped by all sorts of gubbins....

its definitely fighting back Big Cry 2010 XS USW

You've done really well not to have had an issue with your EGR in 8 years, my mate has had the EGR fault flag up for a second time on his VW T5 sportline 180 and its not even done 40,000 miles! Another £1,000 to put it right and VW don't want to know. 2015 Defender 90XS HT

I'll consider myself blessed Rolling with laughter

Cant believe what a stupid place the EGR is fitted, back of the engine and buried deep.Looks like the part is £100 plus and then there is fitting unless I give it a go myself. All this in a car I was planning to sell Big Cry 2010 XS USW

Looks good, a good colour too Thumbs Up

I had one of these for a couple of days when my van went in for some warranty work, was quick, smooth and fun to drive.

You can see why they are so popular.. 2015 Defender 90XS HT
