Depends on price and range.

There is also Rivian (posted here somewhere) - US Manufacturer of a pickup and 7 seater SUV built for off-roading.
Looks really good and start from US 61,000. But thats the US price so no idea about right hand drive versions
plus UK has 20% VAT

I wouldn't buy anything to do with VW.

They are a vile lying company who's priority was to Censored over everyone else to line their own pockets.

Other than that, it looks promising! Mr. Green

Looks crap, same goes for that rivaian.

I want an electric 4x4 but don’t want it to look like it was designed by an interior designer with sleek and modern panels. Give me a bronco give me a defender. I'm on IG: https://www.instagram.com/osloblue42/

Why on earth do all electric cars look totally different at the front from a diesel or petrol. The interiors all look like they have been designed by a first year arts student with TV size monitors and lots of blue gauges and blue flashing lights? Defender 90XS SW

The bollinger ain’t for me either, it looks like Geoff the electric car with a lift kit.

Disco, they look different because they don’t need grilles for air flow. They all look nice inside because it’s the future- today I'm on IG: https://www.instagram.com/osloblue42/

Lots of wanna-be-defender vehicles on the market, all of them lacking authenticity and history. VW may be serious about that, but only time will tell if it is ever going to be more than the next mall crawler. Defender 110 SW MY2011 2.4tdci decat, no EGR

Osloblue, your comment about front air grilles - I've just realised what the front end of the VW EV SUV reminds me of - The VW Kharmann Ghia (and that was just as ugly) Whistle Defender 90XS SW

VW tried to crack the Australian market a few years ago. Whilst they sold to private users they failed with big commercial operators. Drove one for 2 days when they where new and whilst the interior is good the drum brakes and leave springs felt rather dated. Nevertheless, Hilux and Ford Ranger are the main sellers today. m
