There are still horses on the road, used Mainly by lunatics and travelling lunatics.
Otherwise still good offroad... Anyway, Artics and lorry's cant use battery power because of the cubed square law, More mass = More power, More power = More mass. And petrols don't have the torque that can haul long distance economically. That is unless they come out with affordable fuel cells... Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. Strictly speaking, horses, bicycles and pedestrians are more ‘entitled’ to use the “highway” than motor vehicles. They all have a common law and free to access right of way on a highway, whereas motor vehicles don’t. This was the reason motor vehicles originally had to pay ‘road tax’ back in the day, so they could gain “access to the highway”, and of course horses, carts, bicycles and pedestrians don’t pay for access. Our roads today where originally built for them, not for the motor car. This is also the reason motor cars have to “give way” to those other road users. Shame most motor vehicle drivers don’t know that. |

The LWB *desperately* needs a longer rear overhang to look right.
