squeek/rattle
I know before you say, yes its a defender. However!!!!!

I have a 65 plate Defender and yes I have squeak/rattle which seems to come from behind the dash board, I have had it out and put together again, it went but then has come back.


Interesting part now. The squeeks/rattle stops once the Defender has been washed or its raining.

It only squeeks/rattles on local roads, on the motorways i dont hear it as much.

Has anyone got any ideas where to concentrate mt efforts in looking for it?


Any suggests would be welcome.

As said bonnet hinges or loose fittings holding the roof on. Especially the self tapping screws in the corners. Thumbs Up
