I always liked the MK2 fiesta xr2, these are really getting quite valuable now. I remember them being about £1000 for a good example in the late 90s. Now you are looking around £6k to £10k Shocked

A lot of hardware like that now are starting to jump up, the lads on the 306 forums used to play with the odd 205 and 309 on the side. Now those cars have really shot up in value now, and that's the diesel ones. My 306 has hit the point now where it gets chucked due to the age, but it wont be long before these start to go back up in value. The gti models spring to mind 1st, there was already a feature in the practical classics. I am hoping to spend some time next year on tidying mine up again, and putting the proper wheels back on, Those were removed due to no tyre places in sunderland cannot balance then so they say. Might be one tyre place, but I will have to ring and check. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

If you're willing to take a gamble, I'd pay scrap value for it as it may sell to a breaker or on ebay for very minor profit, if not weigh it back in and you've got your money back.

go in with an offer of say £75 and if you do get it, you'll never lose money on it, maybe just some time with transporting it a to b.

I have been messing around with old cars, classics and abandoned cars for years. but I would like to think minor profit in it, I always just offer to take it away FOC first. make it out like you're doing them a favour

Lad I know just bought a tidy 106 rallye and a 306 gti 6. both mint and cheap, he's parked them away for 5 years he says.

AJC rare cars to get hold of like that, most of those were stripped out and used as track cars. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
