Winch and Front Springs
Has anyone who has fitted a winch to their 07 Defender yet needed to change the front springs or are they substantial enough? Fitting a Superwinch EP9 with Plasma rope next week. Andy

Hi Andy

I personally have never needed to change the front springs on either , previous TD5's or the 07 when fitting the winch California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

I have

We found that with the Warn 12000 HD Power Plant winch and winch bumper fitted she sat about 30mm lower. So I fitted some 1" lift heavy duty Old Man Emu springs.

Measure the height before and after and go from there.
