Bunch of fault codes. what do they mean?
Gents,

Found this bunch of fault codes in Orxy, the first time ever. I was resetting it to the standard map for a dealer visit on Tuesday and saw the following fault codes:

U0155 - Lost communication with instrument cluster

U0300 - Internal control module software incompatibility

P0606 - Engine control module (ECM) processor - circuit voltage below threshold / watchdog failure / internal electronic failure / component internal failure

P1643 - Controller area network (CAN) link engine control module/transmission control module circuit/network - missing CAN signal high / low switch.

P0110 - Intake air temperature (IAT) sensor 1 circuit - signal erratic / circuit short to ground / circuit short to battery or open

P0234 - Turbocharger A over boost condition

P068A - Engine control module (ECM) power relay deenergized - too early

Any ideas on what these mean? Are they related to each other? --

I take it these came from the remap unit fault code reader? If so most of the electronic faults,U0155,U0300,P0606,P1643 and P068A are regulars that appear with the use of a remap unit and are untested dtc's which will clear on there own if you don't delete them. Normal and I wouldn't worry about them. P0234 is normal as all Turbo diesels have regular over and underboost conditions.

NANOCOM - PUMAENG.APP - PUMA ENGINE fault file

068A - 00
Engine control module (ECM) power
relay deenergized - too early

---
0606 - 49
Engine control module (ECM) processor

internal
electronic failure

NANOCOM - PUMAENG.APP - PUMA ENGINE fault file

C001 - 88
High Speed CAN Communication Bus

---
1643 - 87
Controller area network (CAN) link engine
control module/transmission control
module circuit/network

These are the faults recorded in the past that are on the desktop, I have the same faults as yourself and those files are in the sd card in the nanocom. Must remember to bring it in and update the desktop Embarassed

The funny thing is that when I get the faultcodes with the nanocom or alien tech remap unit I leave them and plug in the IDS and it doesn't register them at all Confused And it can show both tested and untested DTC's. So I am beginning to believe it is just glitches which arise when using the nanocom/alien tech boxes through differences in the code being employed by said units.

Yes, BAS remap. I read these fault codes with the BAS unit.

Pete says not to worry, it's normal. --

Weird though, this is the first time I have had any fault codes since I got the landy and applied the BAS remaps. --

send the DTCs list to Pete.

He made a lot of development and the new maps doesn't generate errors.

Tell him that is a my suggestion. Discovery 5 td6 HSE Stornoway Gray Outback Engineering Limited Edition
