Series 3 109 with twin fuel tanks
New to series land rovers, the 109 in question is a 2 door with twin fuel tanks under the seat. There is no filler neck on the tub, how are you supose to fill up at the petrol station?

Open the door and lift up the seat base to reveal the filler. It was a standard arrangement on military Land Rovers at one time. Darren

^^^ what he said, there should also be a small tap in the front edge of the seat box to allow change over between tanks if I recall?

This 109" will more than likely be ex military. Twin underseat tanks was standard. Just expect some strange looks at the fuel station.
