Driver's Door - Card Removal
Good Evening Membership,

I need to remove the door card on the driver's side door to access the wiring to the window operating motor. (Broken wire inside the flexible rubber tubing between the door and the door frame - but I need to expose the wiring inside the door to repair it.)

I have a "card-popper" tool. However, all of the information I have found so far about the card removal refers to earlier model LRs.

Other than going carefully to avoid breaking the plastic fixings are there any hidden pitfalls anyone has found before I start the removal?

If I need to replace the plastic fasteners will the MXC1800 type fit?

All advice gratefully received.

Regards.
