Think that stuff is for bathroom sealant...this is heavy duty stuff, trip to the bodyshop this weekend so they can have a look.

Couldn’t be bothered having to get the roof undone etc, besides, they would need to be painted as chance sof finding a match... easier this way IMHO. The VGS panels off to a good home Thumbs Up

VGS panels to gullwings... update Compelete
Conversion of the Defender back to original windows was finished this am... new quarter windows and rear door window with new seals all in, somewhat easy job, the back window rubber seal was a pig, even with a heat gun and wd40 / soapy liquid.

As you can see, 3rd pic, getting through that silicon was a tough job with the cheese wire.

Off to the body shop to fill in the scratches and get the last of the silicon off, then fresh paint and done. Thumbs Up
