Which do you recommend tree sliders or side steps .

Tree sliders for off road use as they give more protection.
The single full length side step is fine for road and very light off road use.
The single side step in my experience is only good for on road use.

Tree sliders definitely. Also if you've got a rack fitted you can stand on them to tie down cargo. They're great in car parks as mentioned. I've been sat in a supermarket car park, next someone pulls up opens their door and clang. Sorry they sometimes utter. I just smile and look at the lovely dent in their door. Rolling with laughter

Tree sliders and if you can afford, the galvanised, then coated ones from 4x4 overlander. They don’t rust to dust like most others.
