I've bought a new dog crate for the rear of my 110. Problem now is that anything placed on top of the crate is likely to join us in the front if we have an accident.
I'm looking to install some sort of barrier between the back and 2nd row seats. It needs to be easily removable so I an use the 3rd row seats every few weeks. Both the LR and Travall barriers make the 3rd row difficult/dangerous to use and look a pain to remove. I tried a cheapo clip to the headrest barrier, but you get what you pay for. Is there another barrier out there that's easier to remove or just fills the space between the top of the seats and the roof? |

I have the Travall barrier fitted in my TD5 110. It comes in two halves. The bottom half is permanently fixed in the defender whilst the top half is held in place with four bolts into the bottom half and two bolts at the roof.
I regulary remove and replace the top half and it takes less than 10 minutes. For the safety of the people in the front I'm happy to spend those 10 minutes fitting. This was taken a few winters ago whilst collecting logs and I had more concern over the side windows than the Travall barrier.  |

Sounds hopeful. Is there enough legroom in the 3rd row with the bottom half in place?

The bottom half is right behind the second row of seats (mine rest against it). If the people in the third row are used to putting their feet under the second row of seats then this will not be possible. I'll try and take a picture later.
Sorry I can't be of more help but I have bench seats in the back that face each other so haven't had to think about that problem. |

Thanks. Looks like Trek Overland sell both. They're just up the road, so I'll see what they can do.

Hopefully you can see from the photo that the lower half is directly behind the seats. The rear seatbelt location points go through the guard.
You can also see the four bolts that secure the top to the bottom. Click image to enlarge I hope this helps. |
