Td5 Entertainment?
Bought my "shed" (110 S&SE van, mechanical drum winch, roof rack & HD chassis) in 2003 with 173,000 miles on the clock.
She's been a continual source of amusement....
Crack in cylinder head exhaust port. Skimmed head, new steel dowels, gaskets bolts etc and some K seal. 24k miles and counting.
Swivel gaiters (chrome leather)
Rear crossmember
A frame crossmember (made own)
Bulkhead outriggers
Fuel pump
Rear spring hangers
Various other "inserts"
Passenger footwell
Windscreen & seal
Propshafts rebuilt
Front & Rear brake disks & callipers .... and the usual servicing. Even get a little time to drive her too. How do you spend your spare time? Ex scottish & southern 110 Td5 van (shed) with PTO driven winch (L-R special vehicles)
Before that, Disco 1, Freelander 1, 26105382 80" with a 1600cc (not much slower)

I spend my spare time earning money to fix my defender, so I can drive it to earn money.

Anyone else spot a flaw in that plan?
