LT230 intermediate shaft leak
We all know the intermediate shaft on the LT230 is prone to leak on its open end at the front of the box, sometimes the casing itself is worn out, but I wonder, how many miles before it started leaking? (and if it's not leaking, please indicate your mileage).

For me, the 90 is dry like the Atacama desert at 60k, whereas the Discovery is leaking a pint every thousand miles at 182k...

Puma - now at 230k miles and not leaking. It is the second t-box (original replaced at 150k miles because it whined but that wasn't leaking either). The current t-box was a pre-owned one with an unknown number of miles on it when I bought it, and it too is now whining but not leaking.

Disco2 - now at 210k miles and not leaking, at least not from the intermediate shaft.

Ashcroft do a modification on the T box. Fitting a steel sleeve into the casing which obviates the problem with the shaft wearing away the casing and promoting incontinence
