Good pics Yanto. Didn't realise Brownchurch did a rack like that. I like it. I've got the old box tube one. They certainly make solid kit for a good price.

I see you're in Caeleon. I went camping there with school back in the 80s at a place called the Old Chapel that school owns - a little old chapel down by the river in a valley just outside Caerleon. Beautiful country.

Do you think the grille might give overheating issues?

thanks for the kind remarks guys. dont think it should suffer from over heating as there are plenty of holes for air to get in.

looking forward to our camping trip in june, should have plenty of room now with the rack!
have to get some bunjee cords now!

I can recommend the orange multipack of ratchet straps from Machine Mart. Cheap and very good for camping kit, bikes etc on the roof.

Bungees are fine here and there (I attach loads of stuff to the cargo barrier with them) but they can break and lose you your stuff or worst still fail as you pull them and blind you. They terrify me.

Here you go Karlos.... Thumbs Up

Not posted much of late, million excuses...busy at work with sailing season...better weather...fish to fry...etc...etc...

Still been spending my hard - earnt though and 'wish list' doesn't get any shorter...

New front bumper, number plates with raised carbon lettering and a 'K9F' logo for good measure. Laughing Also had steering guard powder coated as it was beginning to look tired and had to take an angle grinder to it to get it to fit with the new bumper. All marine grade stainless fittings which have been heatshrunk and packed to avoid dissimilar metal corrosion.

Sourced a fifth Mach 5 wheel for the rear quite some time ago...

Rear differential guard, complete b4st4ard to fit with the aid of an angle grinder and a bottle jack! Also took time to redo any areas that needed waxoyl attention after the harsh Winter whilst I was grubby and scratching around underneath.

As a footnote warranty expires in a couple of months and noticed paint had cracked on nearside weld just below rear side window and rust bubbles were beginning to form...Getting that and a couple of other minor paintwork issues sorted. Gotta be said, local dealers do seem to have had a serious attitude transplant of late and were very receptive and helpful which was totally out of character. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!
