Well that was an eventful trip, it has been very eye opening, many emotional and poignant moments, we have met some amazing people with an unbelievable hospitality. sorry there has been no updates I’ve only just had time to sit down to right this, no idea if I spoke to any of you over the week as it’s been flat out.

Pics and a write up will follow Thumbs Up

Needless to say our bikes are now as broken as the riders, our support vehicles are used and abused with some 1300 plus miles added to them.

There is a page on the dreaded face book somewhere I will try to add a link. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

I thought that this was quite an interesting vehicle. It's actually a 110 of some type fitted with a US cab and custom rear buck, but actually looks great. I have no idea how hard it was to fit the cab to the LR chassis.

That particular tank is a replica that was built for the film, War Horse. The Tank Museum at Bovingdon do have several WW1 tanks but they don't run them anymore because of their historic value. As a result, they bought the film prop so that they could give moving demonstrations. Darren

I bet that was a lot of work to get that to look that good but well worth it .

Thought that Deborah II was the replica built by Guy Martin?

Yea that ratrod truck was based on a 1984 110.

We had both tanks there a male and female, there are pics of them together which is a first in over 40 years. Deborah II is the tank that belongs to the Norfolk tank museum (Guy Martin did front the show).

Loads of pics and vids for those with book face here : https://m.facebook.com/TheLastHurrah1918/?...rce=result

The sign that was fixed to it said it was the ex-War Horse machine.

edit: Ah ha, that explains it. I only saw the War Horse tank up close. Darren
