2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Galway Green

Metal vent blanking plate

Hi all ,

I am searching a metal blanking plate for the wing faux vent , an alternative to the Entreq one .

I've looked but can't find one. Making one out of a piece of aluminium is on my (very long) list of things to do

Looks decent. Price doesn't seem too bad to me as long as the quality is as described.

Stick a Nakatanenga bear on it and folks here would queue up to pay double.

It could just be the photo but I prefer the entreq though. Anyone selling those? Entreq website seems a bit patchy of late.

You can get them with a box on the bottom and a lockable top for similar money I think.

Why not just put a metal snow cowl on, if you're worried about symmetrical aesthetics put two on

I want use the blanking plate to fix :

- the antenna CB

- and the connector for the winch's remote control

Well IF you want to go down the Entreq route at 123 euro look here

For the wing box have a look at gmb here. Look for Motohaube & Kotflugel

For a CB antenna I have the plastic one with aluminium angle and an earth cable underneath. It works very well. 1995 Defender 110 CSW

2016 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Corris Grey

Good morning everybody. I’ve got a blanking plate made from acrylic glass and got it color coded to fit the GPS antenna underneath. Works well.
