Flashing tape does the job, the only drawback with it is in the winter it hardens and becomes less effective at sound proofing. But it's still better than nothing.

that's very similar to what I've done in the back of my 90, but without the hatch at the front.
A great idea that I'll be pinching when mine is in bits for some re-wiring soon |
