Not seen the galv strip across the doors with wind down windows. Was this standard at that age? And seventy years later the haste did not improve and to be fair in my opinion even after seven decades they still did not get it right, maybe that is the charm of the vehicle. The 25% buyer's premium is also subject to VAT, so if you bought that for say £10k you'd be paying £3000 on top in fees! Shocking!
It is a lovely thing, though. The galv strip on the doors was a short-lived feature and is rare, but made the vehicle loo, so much better. |

Well spotted, it's "automobilia" not cars that attract the 25% premium.
Nice as the Landrover is, I'd rather have the Type 44 if anyone wants to buy me a prezzie! |

The Land Rover has a Dunsfold wheel cover and I wouldn't be surprised if they'd waved their magic wand over it at some point in the last few years. Darren
