Not sure on cables, but could you use solenoids to operate the hi/low? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Yes there are possibilities, but again, it'll be a bit experimental.
Not sure how much clout it'd need and again, how much movement. Maybe I'll have to dig out the spare LT230, or get another known good one, just to mess around with. I suppose some of these cheap Chinese solenoids aren't too dear. Even though good ones have been used before, but reliability is questionable with the force and the 'environment' they sit in ha! |
