I've not tried goinf through any heavy mud yet, but after just under 10K miles running my continetal AT cross in heavy rain, deep snow, wet grass (on inclines from standing starts), dry roads, long 1K mile round stints & city driving I can't fault them as a good all round tyre. They're quiet and really good at self cleaning.

I know for really deep mud I would like a set of BFG KM2's but for every other day I'm really impressed by the continentals.
