Get a breaker bar. I had to use a 2ft scaffold pole on a breakbar to split the discs from the hubs on my 90!

Have you downloaded the WSM for your model?

Being ripped, it's not indexed well, but with time you get to find your way around it. It'll have all the bolt torques, threadlock requirements and tell you need $pecial LR tool$ so on.

Someone will have a link..

Then the LR Toolbox video above will have tips about how to get the job done easily and without those tools Thumbs Up

I always recommend having a good look at the condition of your calliper pistons beforehand, the new rotors (and pads yeah?) will force you to push the pistons in further than they have been for years, any corrosion or pitting will either seize them or damage the seals in the worst case. No point having new rotors if half of your pistons aint moving anymore ...

Better to know ahead of time so you're not sat without a car for 3 days waiting for parts to arrive. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...

The LRTV series are great, they gave me the boost of confidence to eventually tackle brakes (and other projects) by myself, so I support LRTV wholeheartedly on Patreon - as more people should do who have benefited from the videos.

+1 on checking your calipers too. When I started replacing the rotors, I eventually had no choice but to overhaul/replace the calipers and fit new pistons.

Regards,

Joris
