sounds like fuel starvation doesnt it. Checked filter and water trap etc ?

It's the imobilizer, known fault, lock and unlock the truck twice,wait a few seconds then it will fire as normal 2.4 90 XS

I had the same problem along with loss of power for a couple of seconds between 2nd and 3 rd gear.
Fixed it by replacing the fuel pressure reg and the sensor in the fuel pump. As a byproduct it transformed the truck. More power, smoother running and better throttle response. Also way better mpg. Justin |
