Enjoying the photos.
Here's a few from our summer trip through the Molesworth and Rainbow stations in the High country of the South island of NZ.

Rainbow station is only open to the public for a couple of months of the year as it gets hammered through winter.
Its a toll road to pay for the constant bulldozing - a real treat.

Thank James. Was a brilliant trip. Very Happy

Timed it well with the reopening of the SH1 Coastal road down the East coast of the South island.

The Kaikoura area had a massive 7.8 Earthquake back Nov 2016 and this road had only just been opened to the public a few days earlier.

I didn't get too many photos showing the rock slides as the road was a single lane in parts without too many places to stop - however this photo does show the old sea bed around the centre of the earthquake that was pushed up 8 metres out of the sea.

All of those rocks beyond were previously under water.
Blew me away.
