I paid about £50 each a few years ago. You can get tubed or tubeless but the only difference is the size of the valve hole but tubless valves can be bought to fit both diameters.

If you bash a steel rim in Waitrose car park a tubed tyre will usually remain inflated.....

That’s not the only difference. Tubeless ones also have the safety bead that helps retain the tyre on the rim. Pretty crucial. |
