Were do the wires go?
Hi.

I'm fitting rear speakers. There are a pair of wires with speaker plugs but they are not on the radio end plug. Were do these lead too?I'm in a flat spin as I'm leaving for a trip in 48hrs and would like music in the back. Puma 110 SW

I found were they lead to.They lead to plug next to the heater box in the engine bay.All what is needed is to connect wires from this plug to the radio through the firewall.Would have cost LR peanuts to connect to radio plug from the start. Puma 110 SW

Possibly.... but "peanuts" x many thousands of produced LR's equals a lot of nuts Laughing

That's Ford's penny-pinching influence Sad

You have the female connector on the Chassis Harness side of the junction (C0379), I don't know if you have a blanked-off male connector on the Main Harness side (C1762 for 110, C0393 for 90), or a cover over the open side of the female chassis connector.

The connectors are 4-way Sumitomo HW Sealed Series, if you need the mating connector half, they can be bought from Eastern Beaver in Japan -

As a -

Male/Female set with terminals and seals - 4P090WP-HW

Male connector with terminals and seals - 4P090WP-HW-Male

Female connector with terminals and seals - 4P090WP-HW-Female

If you just need compatible terminals and seals, they can also be bought from Eastern Beaver, or from Polevolt in the UK -

http://www.polevolt.co.uk/acatalog/Sumitomo_Treminals.html [sic]

Polevolt's Part Numbers (same as Sumitomo's) -

Male terminal - 1500-0105

Female terminal - 1500-0110

Wire Seal (fits both male and female) - 7165-0118
