2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Cairns Blue
spare wheel cover advice required
despite having owned 11 land rovers in 21 years of driving i have never had a spare wheel cover but i am currently tempted to get a genuine hard cover one for the back of my 110.
are the hard covers more hassle than soft ones? and do they restrict access to the rear door handle or the door opening at all?
many thanks,

They take up no more room than a soft one and they are a piece of p1$$ to fit.

Genuine LR covers are often stolen so after 2 thefts i fitted one off Ebay and it is still there and not as tight to fit. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

hi red-dot;
is it the hard or soft covers that get nicked, or both? Neutral
i'll end up going for the white plastic trim covers if thats the case. Shocked
cheers

Any genuine LR cover will get stolen and i replaced mine with a exact cover without any decals or writing on.. god knows why it has lasted as long as it is made by the same company with the decals ommited... 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

I bought a stainless steel one off ebay for the 285 tyre. It has a lockable catch at the bottom.

Not fantastic quality but it was only just over £100 and does the job. The only problem I had was that the first one they sent me was for a 35" but the guy sent another one and a courier to collect the fist one with in a day or so.

I have a LR as shown above. Easy to fit and remove and doesn't obstruct door handle. I've picked off the Defender sticker and no sign of thieves.

I have the LRO star letter one as a prize as well. I'm too embarrassed to put it on but don't want to get rid of it!
