United Kingdom 2003 Defender 90 Td5 XS CSW Bonatti Grey
Iceland off roading
Got a long weekend holiday to Iceland planned. I'd love to have a go in one of the monster Defenders but it seems rather expensive. Does anyone have any idea how to find out if there are any local events near Reykjavik were I could see some crazy Icelandic guys driving up shear cliffs in those buggys?
The only national formula offroad event I can see is in the USA!
Any other recommendations for places to visit also welcome.
Cheers
Paul.

One of my friends married a woman from Iceland and now he is living the time of his life. He goes fishing in the ocean and visits all the great places. Offroading seem a bit odd for the place tho since it always seems cold to me Laughing

The guy you want to speak to is Ian Sykes who retired to Iceland a few years ago. He set up the Scottish Hill Rally when it was run around Perth and he also set up the current Scottish Borders Hill Rally so he's got the right credentials!

His Facebook page is : Ian Sykes, https://www.facebook.com/IcelandIan
