Heated mirror wiring
The time has finally come to fit my mobilecentre heated screen wiring kit (only taken me about 3 or 4 years to get round to it) but I'd like to wire my heated mirrors (also not connected at the moment) in on the same switch. My question to you knowledgable people is, do I just take two feeds (one for each mirror) from the positive wire of the screen feed to run to the mirrors and then Earth the mirrors to the door? In my mind this is right but thought I'd better check Thumbs Up

Any help appreciated
Cheers

Thumbs Up thanks for the quick reply. The difference with mine is the heated screen wiring is not factory so as everything is already in place my thinking was that I just need to connect the live feed to the screen to the live feeds to the mirrors. Electrics seem to twist my mind for ages then one I look at them and everything seems obvious Big Cry this is one of my off days. Ray

Yes you can Ray, just spilt of the positive wire. If you've got the genuine plug and switch, you might have a insert 2 wires in the back of the connector. The white plug is numbered on the fold down flap. I missed it yesterday Embarassed googled the plug and the diagram I looked at labeled them the wrong way around Censored Banging Head Banging Head
I just routed mine through the cabin, and took the earth of the screen block bolts. It also doesn't matter which side you feed the positive. The time is taking it all apart just to run the cables!! Ive done the heated seat kit and a couple of other jobs and beaten by the light tonight !!

That's great Jim thanks Thumbs Up the weather man says it's going to be dry tomorrow so I thought I'd put it in. I saw the numbers on the connector flap so hopefully I'll get them in the right place Thumbs Up
Cheers
