300tdi fuel pump help

Hi chaps I need a bit of help here I was about to fit a trimbertrial pin to the zepplin today it looks fairly easy BUT I've come across something I can't identify on the pump it is marked Bosch I can't find any mention of the part in my workshop manual on the internet or here on the forum. If someone could tell me what it is and does is be grateful

It's the throttle position sensor. Used for the egr

the car has had egr deleat so it's days are numbered

If your EGR has been removed take it off and chuck it in the bin where it belongs!
