Entreq Door Strips
Thought I would treat myself a couple of moths ago & get these expensive, but very well made, door entrance strips for my 110.

Bling bling when they arrived, but pouring with rain on every day I had available until recently.

Rear ones went on fine, do the job - doors now snug on all sides - even passes the hose test.

Went to fit the front ones this morning.

You know when you think something is wrong, but maybe because of a lack of caffeine / too much something else the night before you just cannot get it right?

Well, had the carpets out, was just about to get rid of the rusty bolts to replace with the new stainless ones which come with the door strips - Dremmel at the ready for the stubborn ones.

THEN it hits me (the thought, not the Dremmel)

Entreq have engraved their lovely logo upside down on the strips. Meaning that I would see an upside down logo everytime I opened the door.

GRRRRRRRR

Email now off to Olaf at Entreq to see what the deal is. Certainly, the ones I have are wrong, per his website which shows the correctly engraved strips.

Yes, I am a complete poseur with my stainless strips and possibly deserve a wee bit of grief as payback for showing off.

But I just wanted a system to keep the water out the bottom of the doors (leaving only about a couple of dozen other places for it to come in)

We'll see what happens, but really, nothing less than replacements asap would do. As I said, this gear was expensive.

Anyone else (a) got these strips & (b) had the same issue? 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey
