On my 200TDi I had a over size inter cooler which fitted the same as a standard inter cooler but a lot thicker and more open core ,I think we had to open or cut out a small part of the bottom of the rad support cage ,stainless steel exhaust ,pump wound up to a point where there would be a tail of grey smoke under hard acceleration not black smoke and K&N air filter.Much more fun to drive ,pick up from standing start was more or less instant which made steep climbs a lot easier.
I don't think fuel performance really changed as the engine worked less on the road was a lot smoother less gear changes etc. |

i have a full width Allisport intercooler on my 300tdi 110, i fitted silicone hose throughout at the same time. Love it. it added 25-30% more power and increased MPG. 110 Defender 300tdi & Penman trailer with ally exped top and roof tent
