Dan, they're cheaper than that from Goodwinch mate, and he does free postage..

Marlow Dynaline is Dyneema (a marlow registered product - dynaline is just the specific product name)

Well according to him and his web site....

23m rigged with standard hook is - £139+vat +p+p + £5 for large hook which would work out at £180ish delivered.

As i'm sure you are aware as with everything there is alot of different grades of Dyneema available on the market.

Just to be the resident smart arse - Dyneema is actually a trademark of Eurocord Industries in Holland.

In a former life, I ran the European end of Penn Fishing Tackle (USA made rods & reels for Big Game) - we used the Dyneema based lines extensively. Almost unbreakable. 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey

Well one resident smart arse to another one, In a former life I used to do polymer physics and the group I worked in did a lot of research on both Dyneema and Plasma way back before younger members had not even become a gleam in their fathers to be eyes. In those days Dyneema were DSM Laughing Laughing

Very few things are unbreakable, especially if you have tensile test machines going up to 2,000 tonnes at your disposal Razz Just remember test figures depend very much on test conditions, speed gripping etc etc.

The last 'rope' I worked on the individual load bearing strands were 1.8mm polyoxyemethylene. Not exactly your normal rope making material.

Your smart arse

Marlow 25m rope with large comp hook - BRAND new

£155 delivered!

This is a fair deal - cheaper than anyone else for same rope and i'm losing money! I bought it as a spare rope and have never required it!
