Yes, easily available on the grey market at a premium of around £800-£1,500 depending on age and condition but hard to get from authorised dealers at official retail price. Also depends on which part of the country you are in. Been more scarce in London and the South East than the rest of the UK.

I used to give out GMT 1's in Pepsi colours to oil company buyers in Iran as thankyous then my boss would win them back at poker. I seem to remember them costing £550 in 1978!
I sold my Submariner RED to a guy in Tehran airport for £300 and it would be worth £50k now.
