Defender 300tdi radiator question
Please can anyone tell me the difference between the following to radiators.

BTP2275 pre TA976039
PCC500170 post TA976039

Hi Paul, i recently had this issue. My vin suggested the PCC500170 radiator but only one supplier seem to suggest this difference, without an explanation of the difference. Most suppliers said 300 tdi from 94 to 98 BTP2275. my Defender being a 1996 i opted for the BTP rad and it fits perfectly. Pictures shown seem to show no difference water pipe connections on the same side also oil cooler pipe connections. I would like to know the difference between them. There was a big difference in cost so i opted for the cheaper one and all good.

Mine is also a 1996 model, what make of rad did you end up fitting as was it copper/brass?

Hi Paul, got it from Champion radiators off Ebay 2 year guarantee, plastic tanks although i think they have an option for brass/copper rad bit more expensive, really helpfull guy, good quality part, gave it a good look over before fitting so far so good.
