I WANT TO PUT BIG ALLOYS ON MY SVX. WHAT DO I NEED TO CHANGE AND HOW WILL IT HANDLE. svx tdci (project)

its got a 5 ton superwinch rocksliders and roll cage. just want big rims with even bigger chunky tyres, but they dont come cheap Big Cry svx tdci (project)

TBH I would look down the route of 19" wheels and then you have a bigger range of Mud terrain tyres.... and won't be stuck with sidewalls smaller than a rubber band!

19s will look more than big enough on a Defender.

I just don't see the point. Standard height rims are absolutely fine, and your insurance company would have something to say about the size you propose I'm sure.

I agree with that - I LOVE my 16s and wouldn't go for anything else.... But it is all about induviduality and some people want big wheels and skinny tires. I would say the insurance would probably have concernas about the hub addaptors.... are they safty marked?

stick with 16" rims for the best range of tyre choice in MT or more i have a set of 37" on 16" rims they are plenty big enough! Cheers
