Spacers and alloys

Hey up, I am now the proud owner of 30mm wheel spacers, shiny freestyle disco 1 alloys and wheel nuts. Fitting to a Defender 90

The spacers are not hubcentric, how important is this to the reliability of the spacer.

The wheel sits quite loose on the spacer until the wheel nuts are fitted, when they are secured up they fill up the space around the spacer stud and everything sits fine.

The alloy also gives me the advantage of being able to see the spacer studs and nuts when fitted so this will give me opportunity to keep an eye on their security.

Does the above seem OK, I want to get this exact and have never fitted spacers and alloys before.

Mine are still in the box- sitting on the fence again!!

If I do fit them will need to look at wider wheel arches to cover the wheels as they are currently right on the limit
