My dad had an orange one with a brown interior.... Got it in my head they were 3 litre V6's but perhaps there were two engine variants???

Most vivid memory is the bank of dials in the centre of the dash and ours had an aftermarket 'claxon' air horn on it ..... Dials, switches and lights and a f*ck off horn..... very impressive to a ten year old...... not a lot's changed some 30 years later Mr. Green Jon - 110 td5 [sold]. Currently Defenderless.

Yes 3 litre V6 sounds more like it. Lovely engine but it stank of mould, used to grow some nice mushrooms in it Laughing He sold it after only having it a few months - shame I still really quite like them. Cheap as chips, you can buy a top nick one for 3K.....

There was a lovely orange one with brown interior at Brooklands on New Years Day......I wonder....could be Jon......he'd probably take £20 for it Rolling with laughter They're bargains.

Hmm - mine are almost that colour (terra dakota) but have separate headrests. Similar though. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.
