yeah there is pal, you can just bolt those off and buy replacement ones. Me and my dad done his 200 tdi, I cannot remember how much the panels were, he got them from yrm metals It did take us a couple of days to do, we had other things to sort out in the process.
When we fitted the replacement panels, We had moved everything up more closer than it was! buy at least good 5mm on the bulkhead side. http://www.yrm-metal-solutions.co.uk/epage...s/078-0001 Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back In the words of my Good Friend, Gary Forrest 1980 -2025 " we will work something out" |

yeah that's the part, you would replace. Main thing will be rusted on bolts, Not sure what the difference is between the defender and the series landys Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Just took a look at the bolts underneath and it looks a little on the scary side. I wonder if the corrosion can be sanded out and repainted or is this just creating a problem later down the line.

all you are doing really is putting off the problem for a little longer, Don't worry about the bolts, give them a soaking with some good quality release oil, and get your self a selection of sockets and spanners. All will be ok, even you snap them you can get replacements for the sill anyway. My dad bought some fancy stainless steal cover thing with some bolts which went though the full works.
Its not a ![]() We did remove the seat box too but again that needed new sides installing and a new battery box. So it was more than a sill replacement, but again rivets and bond. I tell you what that battery box is the driest part of the front end at the moment ![]() But like I say again its not a hard job pal, and in fact it will save you a ![]() In the words of my Good Friend, Gary Forrest 1980 -2025 " we will work something out" |

Thanks Procta, good advice. Looks like I'm going to have to man up and get in with it!
One thing though, did you say that you replaced the sill in a 200? From what I can see, the replacement part for a 110 is t-shaped like the photo below which means door removal I'm guessing? ![]() |

not to sure on the 110 side of things as one in this link says it fits the 110 too, Sounds like its in two halves to me. or its longer, I cannot see you going to that extreme of fitting the T piece and other panel you shown me.
Might be best checking out a 110 rebuild on here, just to make sure. Here is the link to the part i am talking about. http://www.yrm-metal-solutions.co.uk/epage...s/078-0001 Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back In the words of my Good Friend, Gary Forrest 1980 -2025 " we will work something out" |

My dads had a double check with me with some photos of a 110 rear tub, looks like the 90 and 110 share the same inner sill piece. The photo you have there looks like its a full replacement panel. Still working on seeing if its any different for you.
