Hi, my steering box seems to be weeping at the input seal. How easy is it to replace just that seal? I need to know which type I have, 3,4 or 6 bolt before I order a bag of bits. Which bolts are we counting?
Are there any links to "how to replace my steering box seals"? Mike Hard Top 90 TD5 2001 Ford 100e 1959 www.youtube.com/mikemakesit |

Hi, looking from the top, the top cover has 4 bolts. It also (perhaps irrelevantly) has 4 fixing bots to the chassis rail.
How easy would it be to change just the input seal? There seems to be a shield over the oil seal? In-situ? Mike Hard Top 90 TD5 2001 Ford 100e 1959 www.youtube.com/mikemakesit |
