HELP please - Performance issue....

Hi, I am looking for any urgent advice please. My wife has just pulled over and called me and said that her Puma 90 (2008 with 110k miles) has lost its power on motorway and willl only do 50mph. It seems to have lost all acceleration and speed. She is currently trying to limp it home. It is appreantly running medium temperatire which is unusual. Any immediate ideas would be really appreciated please! Thanks in advance.

2010 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Stornoway Grey

Sounds like turbo hose has split?
OR
My VWT5 dose this in cold weather if I switch it off and restart it clears it... Something to do with the ECU going in to 'limp mod'

Has she tried turning the engine off and re-starting?? 2010 Defender 90 HT

The longer I live..... The better I was!

Thank you! Quite amazing but yes once she restarted the engine the defender is back to normal ! Quite bizarre as it has been in colder climates before. I really appreciate the advice. Thanks again, I would never had thought it would just clear like that....
