Temporarily stuck the diode behind the alternator and hey presto, she starts AND switches off.

Seriously, THANK YOU.

I said the electrics were my weakest thing, with your help, my mate kevdonlon (forum member) and a NORC chap it came together and I'm chuffed.

One more tiny earth problem to fix with the indicators and gauges.....then it can get mot'd Thumbs Up

The exhaust is a stainless 'sports system' from Rimmers, made by (I think, can't remember for sure) Falcon.

Thanks, it's got a single muffler, it sounds quiet. Kinda. But no doubt about it running a v8 Cool
