Isn't the A pillar a bit too narrow??? Seems a daft place to fit them in a Defender..

I'm interested in options like that too though as don't want to clutter what is otherwise a quite nice looking late TD5 dash.

Personally I like the mud pods/mini pod:
https://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products/mud-stuff/mini-mud-pod.html Matches quite nicely with the standard dash and can be mounted without damaging the top (if you have an ashtray).
