You're right, I am getting used to sorting little things, and I know I will need to become a home mechanic. Slowly learning, and enjoying too.

Just when its all new things like that are a bit of a nightmare.

But, thanks to all the folks on here it does make it a lot better

2016 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 Landmark LE Corris Grey

Before you take it back under the paintwork warranty check all the other likely corrosion spots -

round the window,
the window blocks,
the cappings at the rear,
inside the rear door bottom edge,
the roof edges etc.

You may as well claim for everything - most dealers will not identify/rectify other corrosion unless you point it out to them.
I am certain others will add to my list of areas to check

I cannot remember seeing any other bits, but another good check will be done.
